It’s been a while but the phlegm monster ventured out today to Priceline and TK Maxx. Of course all of the products I bought were things I weren’t intending on buying except some gum. Isn’t that the way it goes?
So what goodies did Priceline seduce me with?
Did I need another primer? Nope. Did I need new mascara? Not really. Did any of this stop me? Evidently not, but since Essence’s limited edition products are so sweet but really awesome while Priceline had Revlon’s new Mega Multiplier tubing fibers mascara was on sale for only around $14, I wanted to give both of these a go!
Of course by the time I got to TK Maxx, my “I’ll think about it” pile turned into “I’ll fucking buy everything”. Pur gum is my favourite gum ever, so I always grab a couple of bags now that I know I have a place to get them (also found the bubblegum flavour that I’ve never tried before but now LOVE).
Also thought I would try out a silicone makeup sponge since it was only $5 and this particular one was a little thicker than the other ones there, so I wanted to try this one.
You might notice my other steal is a 3-pack of Marilyn Monroe shaping shorts. I had heard good things about this brand and need some butt-friendly, tum-fighting shapers (I say butt friendly because now that I have an ass after many years of asslessness, I don’t want shapewear that diminishes it).
Then, there’s the priciest product I bought..
It’s a 5 set brush set by IT Innovation Beauty. I’ve never heard of them before but I have seen the brand at TK Maxx before, though not anywhere else. I was going to purchase Nude By Nature’s brush set through Priceline but they sold out before I got a chance to grab them. While these brushes are soft to the touch and packed with bristles, I kept tossing up whether the $35 price tag was worth it, which I’m still actually doing now that I’ve bought them, buuut I guess we’ll see.
