Hey guys, welcome back! How are you? That’s good! I’m back with a beauty-based post to start our April off and -spoiler alert- this won’t be about getting Botox or rubbing jellyfish on your face. It’s going to be easier and realistic ways that you might not have thought about if you’re looking to appear younger.
I do want to preface this with why we’re doing this kind of post. Last month I was scrolling through Twitter and a certain thread reminded me of a customer I had years ago for a certain brand at a certain department store. This customer and the Twitter user felt their thin brows aged them and were wondering how you start growing thicker brows out after 10+ years of extreme plucking.
I decided that if this is something that’s been actively searched for on a daily basis but there are small things anyone can do to help them take some years off (or, more importantly, feel better about themselves), and I have some tips, I should share them. You might find you’ve tried all of them or find them redundant, but I hope something helps someone out there.
In my real life I get a lot of people asking me what apps to I like using or, mostly, what apps I use for my photography. Since I don’t actually like having lots of apps on my phone, I stay with Ole Faithfuls that I keep going back to.
So, for you today, I thought I’d show you what I use for photos, health and some fun!
It’s winter time so it’s been the perfect time to get someone else’s cooties and get sick! In a way I’m really lucky because I don’t have a job or a routine to get back to where I have to go back out into public, but there have been many times I’ve had to cover up a shredded nose and watery eyes.
If that relates to you I have some handy tips to squelch the last of that cold or flu and get you back to feeling and looking better.
Ugh, it’s that time of year again where the Australian summer chokeholds the season and punches the living shit out of anyone standing on this land. In general I actually really like summer but summer here in Australia is a time I dread because it does kick me in my ass physically, so I need to make sure I’m prepared.
Let’s take a deep breath, clutch onto a block of ice, and dive in.
I’ve been attempting to write this for days.. hell, weeks. Every way to try and write this has gone through my head and it’s just one of those things that kind of make sense in your head then when you go to write it down, it doesn’t come out coherently. I’m going to do my best though, as I don’t want this to be taken out of context or anyone to feel offended; all I want to do is create a dialogue where there currently isn’t one and maybe, even make someone feel better about being in a similar situation.
So naturally, I’m sick. So sick I actually wrote this article days ago and thought I posted it!
The whole house was sick. We hadn’t been home together yet somehow we all got sick at the same time. Other than keeping Difflam and Kleenex running, we’ve had to make sure two of us, in particular, don’t get even worse (fucked up immune systems are all the rage).
I thought that if I’m not in the right might to make an actual ‘Quality Post’, I should at least make a quick post about the three things that have really helped cut down the length and severity of my cold. I hope it might help you or someone you know who might be in the throws of phlegm and insomnia.
This isn’t a paid post in any way. I know we have this in our FAQ but I felt like I should reiterate that this is my real-deal, personal opinion and has not been sponsored in any way.
